WHY DO PILATES?

Pilates is a system of exercises designed to improve your physical strength, flexibility & posture as well as reducing stress, improving mental focus and fostering an improved sense of well being.

Why is Pilates so good for you?


  • Pilates helps to relieve stress and tension both physically within the body’s muscles and mentally too.

One of the key principles of Pilates is Concentration and control Pilates principles focus on concentration and control hence feeling a huge sense of relaxation and restoration after a session.  In order to get the best out of each exercise, mindful concentration and breathing is key. This in turn relaxes the brain and ensures us of a relaxing hour of practice. Ensuring we feel relaxed and rejuvenated after a session.

  • Pilates improves mobility and restrictions within the body. Do you suffer from lower back pain? Pilates can help to reduce and hopefully remove this pain as you strengthen and tone not only your core but your back postural muscles as well.
