Have you ever considered a 1:1 Pilates session?

December - not only is it often a chaotic month full of celebration, excess and/ or finishing end of year projects but it is also often a time of review and reflection and a time for making new promises to ourselves.


You may already have a "New Year Goal" and the chances are pretty high that one of those "goals" may be to "Get fit/ get healthy/ lose weight/ have more ME time/ become more toned" and so on. It is what we set ourselves every year - those ideals.

Pilates is a wellness journey and I help many people each year to improve their lives through mentally as well as physically tuning in to their bodies and listening to what their bodies need.


So how can a 1:1 help you with those New Year Improvements?


Many people choose to have a private pilates session to get them started before joining a group class so that they are more familiar with the exercises and the way I teach as well as to build their own confidence. If you are new to Pilates or have had time away from the Mat then this is a great way to learn and thrive with 1:1 attention tailored to you and your needs.


1:1 is also beneficial for those who have individual Goals- injuries or medical conditions which may impact what you can do. Equally, you may have a special event you are building towards be at as diverse as your own wedding or a family wedding or a marathon. Having private, tailored sessions can help you to achieve your own personal goals.

A 1:1 session will help you to identify areas of your body that are misaligned, over-compensating for weaker areas, holding too much tension or stress. In turn, we can then work on improving strength and balance in those areas.


Convenience: Many of my private clients find 1:1 simply more convenient for their busy lives but also holds them more accountable than going it alone or using online courses/ videos.
